Eyamaqhawe, meaning "heroes," was founded to honor the legacy of elders who participated in sports and to create unity within the community. Eyamaqhawe Foundation aims to redirect the focus of youth away from negative influences by providing engaging and enjoyable sporting activities for all age groups.
The journey has been incredibly rewarding. The unwavering support from community members, evident in their enthusiastic attendance at games and the participation of clubs in each tournament, has fueled the introduction of sports in local schools.
